I am the writer and director of a 40 min horror film, that is set in 19th century and is made in the style of expressionist films such as Nosferatu. Filming has gone well so far and we have many hours of footage.

The script has had many positive reviews from professional film journalists and film makers alike.

There is a lot of organising required

Costumes: selecting and putting together specialised period costumes. A producer/PA would need to work out what is required for the shoot and help me transport them to the location.

shooting shedule. Many of the actors are students and so their time is quite limited. We are hoping to film the rest of the film over roughly 7 (non consecutive days) from Aug-Dec 2007.

locations: most of the locations have been found and some are outdoors. The main problem with outdoor shoots so far has been the factor of weather. The producer/PA would be responsible for booking the venues for interior shoots and checking the weather forecast, or scouting the area for exterior shoots.

This post would suit somebody who wishes to gain experience of producing and assisting on a low budget film.

They will liase with the director at every stage. I am very willing to do the leg work but it is a huge job producing this film and frankly I can't do it by myself.

It would suit someone who is very organised and enjoys organising events. They will communicate between the actors and crew; they will be the glue and backbone of the project.

Unfortunately I cannot pay you but you will definately be bought a few pints in return for your hard work!
